Privacy Policy
Last updated September 2, 2026Information we collect and where it comes from
SaRose Beauty collects information that clients and professionals provide directly, including names, mobile numbers, email addresses, account and verification details, service addresses, booking details, professional credentials, service areas, portfolio links, reviews and support messages. Referral codes and campaign parameters included in a registration link may be stored with the submitted registration so SaRose can measure campaign response and support launch operations, even when optional website analytics is declined. For payments, SaRose stores transaction amounts, booking and payment status, refunds, tips and Stripe transaction identifiers. Stripe collects and processes card, identity, bank-account and payout information directly; SaRose does not receive or store full card or bank-account numbers. We also receive limited technical and security information, such as connection IP addresses, request timestamps and, after permission is granted, a device notification token. The mobile app accepts a ZIP code and does not request device GPS access.
How information is used
We use information to create and secure accounts, send requested verification codes and operational booking updates, match clients with professionals, calculate service distance and time zones, review professional applications, collect booking payments, route professional payouts, issue approved refunds, reconcile financial records, provide support, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations. If notification permission is granted, the notification token is linked to the signed-in role so generic booking-event alerts can be delivered. A ZIP-code centroid may be used for service distance and time-zone checks. Connection IP addresses may be processed temporarily for security and abuse prevention.
Optional website analytics
The website offers optional Google Analytics to help SaRose understand visits, traffic sources, page use and technical performance. The Google tag is not loaded unless a visitor chooses Allow analytics. If allowed, Google may use cookies or similar browser identifiers and receive information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, and interaction events. SaRose does not send names, mobile numbers, email addresses, booking details or service addresses to Google Analytics, and does not use this data for cross-context behavioral advertising. Visitors may decline analytics or reopen Analytics preferences at any time.
Sensitive information
Do not send identity documents, tax forms, card numbers, bank details, payout information or other sensitive records through the public contact form. Professional licenses, insurance, identity documents, salon establishment licenses, salon insurance and business registrations may be submitted only through the private document uploader shown after mobile verification. Card entry and professional bank and payout verification occur only on Stripe-hosted pages. These files and payment records are kept away from public pages and access is limited according to operational need.
When information is disclosed
Booking information is disclosed to the client and professional involved in that booking as needed to arrange and provide the service. Stripe receives the information needed to process checkout, identity verification, connected-account transfers, payouts, refunds, fraud prevention and financial compliance. Device notification tokens and generic event types are sent through Expo and the device platform provider, such as Apple, to deliver alerts; notification payloads do not include names, mobile numbers, addresses, service details, appointment times or booking notes. Information may also be disclosed to providers that support hosting, communications, verification and security, and to authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service. SaRose does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
We retain records only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain booking and safety records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet accounting or legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the record and those purposes. We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices and state rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information associated with you. After mobile verification, clients, independent professionals, salon owners and salon team members can download a portable JSON copy of their retained account data from the Account dashboard. The export excludes verification codes, uploaded document files, device tokens and other users' private contact details. Clients, independent professionals and salon owners can permanently delete their account from the Account dashboard; salon team members can permanently delete their account by leaving the team from the same dashboard. A client or professional account with an active booking, outstanding balance, pending refund or dispute must first resolve that item. A salon team member can leave the team without changing the salon's bookings. Deletion removes the account profile and related operational records; professional verification documents are also removed from private storage. Historical booking and payment records needed for accounting, tax, safety and dispute purposes are retained with the deleted account holder's identity anonymized where practical. Anyone needing help may submit a Privacy request through Support. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to know what we collect and disclose, receive a portable copy, limit certain uses, appeal a decision or receive equal service when exercising a privacy right. We may verify your identity and may retain information when an exception or legal obligation applies. Because SaRose does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out needed for the current service.
Children's privacy
SaRose client accounts and booking services are intended for people age 16 or older. Independent professional, salon owner and salon team accounts are limited to people age 18 or older. A client who is 16 or 17 may use SaRose only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian and where permitted by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact Support to request its removal.
